Switchmark is a Chrome extension that helps you switch between multiple bookmark bars.
Switchmark reads and moves your Chrome bookmarks between the Bookmarks bar and numbered folders under **Other bookmarks → Switchmark**. It stores your extension settings (active bar and bar count) with `chrome.storage.sync`. Switchmark does not send your bookmarks or browsing data to any external server.
- **Bookmark organization** — Switchmark creates and uses bookmark folders named `Switchmark` and numbered subfolders (`1`, `2`, etc.) inside Chrome’s bookmark system.
- **Extension settings** — active bar index, number of bars, and initialization flags.
Switchmark does not:
- Collect browsing history
- Collect page content
- Sell or share user data
- Run analytics or advertising trackers
- Transmit bookmark data to third-party servers
- **bookmarks** — move bookmarks between the Bookmarks bar and Switchmark storage folders when you switch bars.
- **storage** — remember your settings and active bar between sessions.
